Privacy Policy

The operator of SuperCooLNG is the controller of personal data processed through SuperCooLNG. Contact: privacy@supercoolng.com.

• Account data: email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), and, if you sign in with Google, your name and email from Google.
• Profile data: your industry, organisation and display name, which you give at sign-up or before posting.
• Content you create: community posts, comments and upvotes; watchlists, saved scenarios and alert preferences.
• Usage data: pages viewed and features used within the Service, with time and your account identifier, to run, secure and improve the Service.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information in server and security logs kept by our hosting providers.
• Communications: messages you send us.

• To provide the Service and your account (performance of our contract with you).
• To show your name, industry and organisation with your community posts, so members know who they are talking to (contract; you choose what to post).
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse and enforce our terms (legitimate interests).
• To understand which features are used and improve them, using aggregated usage data (legitimate interests).
• To send service emails such as sign-in links and, if you enable it, the weekly digest (contract; you can switch the digest off).
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising. We use service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:

• Supabase: authentication and database.
• Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery and security.
• Google: sign-in, only if you choose "Continue with Google".
• Email provider: delivery of service emails, where enabled.
• AI provider: if you use the Ask LNG assistant, your question and the relevant platform data are sent to our AI model provider to generate the answer.

Other members see your display name, industry and organisation next to content you post in the Community. We may disclose data where required by law.

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

• Account and profile data: while your account is open, then deleted within 90 days of closure, except where we must keep records by law.
• Community content: until you or a moderator delete it, or your account is closed.
• Usage data: as long as needed to operate and improve the Service, and no longer than 24 months before it is deleted or aggregated.
• Security logs at hosting providers: per their standard retention periods.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, email privacy@supercoolng.com from your account address. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to the database is controlled by row-level security, so members can read and change only what the rules allow. No system is completely secure; tell us at support@supercoolng.com if you believe your account is at risk.

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and no advertising trackers. Details are in Cookies & storage.

The Service is for professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.

We will post updates here with a new date and notify account holders of material changes.
