Terms of Use

SuperCooLNG is an online information service about the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market. It brings together public statistics, company disclosures, news headlines, reference data, models and community content, and presents them with their sources.

The operator of SuperCooLNG ("we", "us") provides the Service. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

• You must be at least 18 and give accurate information, including your name, industry and organisation where asked.
• Accounts are personal. Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or are inactive for a long period.

The Service has a free plan and paid plans described on the pricing page. New accounts may receive a time-limited trial of paid features; when it ends the account returns to the free plan unless a paid plan is purchased.

Paid plans are provided under an order form or invoice that sets out price, term, seats and payment terms. If an order form conflicts with these terms, the order form prevails for that subscription. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated.

Subject to these terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Service and use its content for your internal business purposes.

You may quote limited extracts (such as a figure or a chart) in internal or published work, provided you cite SuperCooLNG and the underlying source shown in the Service.

You may not:

• resell, sublicense, redistribute or publish the Service's content in bulk, or use it to build a competing product or dataset;
• scrape, crawl or extract data systematically, or access the Service by automated means other than features we provide for that purpose;
• share accounts, or circumvent plan limits, access controls or security measures;
• reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
• use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others' rights, or to send spam or malware.

Much of the content comes from third parties: public agencies, industry bodies, companies, news outlets and data providers. Their content remains theirs and may carry its own terms; the Service names the source for each dataset. News items are shown as headlines with links to the publisher; we do not copy article text.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

You keep ownership of posts, comments and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within the Service for as long as it remains on the Service.

You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the right to share it. Do not post confidential information (including contract terms or prices covered by confidentiality obligations), personal data of others, or anything unlawful, defamatory or misleading. The Community guidelines apply. We may remove User Content or restrict accounts at our discretion.

The Service provides general market information only. It is not investment, trading, financial, legal, tax, technical or engineering advice, and nothing in it is an offer or a recommendation to buy or sell any commodity, security or other instrument. Share prices and market data may be delayed or incomplete.

We take care to use credible sources and to show them, but data may contain errors, gaps or delays, and models and scenarios are estimates, not forecasts. You are responsible for decisions you make using the Service. See the Disclaimer.

The Service, its software, design, compilations, models and original text are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from the licence above, no rights are granted. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation to you.

We aim to keep the Service available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, change data sources or retire features. Where a change materially reduces a paid plan, we will tell affected customers in advance.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in that period or, if you use only free features, one hundred euros.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will compensate us for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or from User Content you submit, except to the extent caused by us.

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@supercoolng.com. We may end or suspend access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) continue after termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of SuperCooLNG is established, whose courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Before starting proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter.

We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
